Gujhiya are deep-fried in low heat oil or ghee, until golden and crisp. Filling of Gujhiya is different from place-to-place according to taste and tradition.
Gujhiya are also known by different names in different regions of India, such as Karanji in Maharashtra, Kajikawa in Andhra Pradesh.
